Post-Treatment Guidelines
General Care:
It is normal following the treatment for the area to
be red and swollen. These symptoms usually disappear
in 2 to 24 hours.
Avoid any irritation to the skin. Do not pick or scratch
the treated area. This will interfere with the natural
healing process.
More Specifically:

Keep the area clean using soap and water.

Apply ice to the treated area to reduce any swelling.
- Do
not touch the treated area. Scabs are not common but
if they do appear, tell your Electrologist at the
following appointment. Do not remove any scabs. Antibiotic
cream can be applied to shorten the healing process.
- Do
not use any abrasive scrubbing products including
loofahs on the treated area.

Do not use tanning beds and avoid sun tanning on the
treated area for at least 48 hours following the treatment.
- Use
only make-up purchased within 90 days, as this will
reduce complications.
