How to Prepare for an Electrology Procedure

• The hair needs to be long enough to see and grab with a tweezer. Two days’ growth is usually adequate.
  
  
• Avoid deep tanning, which includes sun tanning beds, 2 days prior to electrolysis treatment.
  
  
• Discontinue using hair bleaching cream 1 week prior to electrolysis treatment.
  
  
• It is best to refrain from tweezing, waxing, or depilatories for 1 week prior to electrolysis treatment. Try using a cuticle scissors to trim down unruly hairs in between treatments.
