Frequently Asked Questions
How Does Thermolysis Work?
The technician will use a tiny probe that emits heat and carefully traces the unwanted distended capillaries or cherry angioma. The heat will cauterize the blood supply of the capillary and then form a tiny crust or scab which will shed in a few days post treatment. Depending on the size of the capillary or angioma one to three treatments are necessary for clearance.

How Long Will it Take to Notice Results?
Results with thermolysis are immediate. Depending on the size of the problem area it can take one to three treatments for complete clearance, if not completely gone, is significantly diminished post one treatment.
How Often Do I Come in for Thermolysis?
Thermolysis can be done at minimum every two weeks, or as long as the crust or scab is completely gone from previous treatments.
How Do I Improve and Maintain My Vein Reduction Results?
