Peroxide- Peroxide reacts with
the light from the laser to form hydroxyl radicals that
break down the particles in the teeth that form the stains.
The spongy pads in the mouth piece absorb the staining particles
leaving the teeth whiter.
Light- The whitening process is accelerated by the wavelength
of the laser light that is shined on the teeth.

Pressure- The mouth piece and the peroxide pads produce a
seal over the teeth, which causes pressure over the teeth,
and acts like a vacuum. This deposits the time released,
neutral ph peroxide gel into the teeth.

Heat- The natural heat that occurs in the mouth makes the peroxide
more active.
Exposure- The two 12 minute exposure sessions allow time for the SpaWhite
whitening system to remove and absorb the stains.
