What Does a ReFirme Procedure Involve?

• You will complete a brief medical history form, which a Para-Medical Esthetician evaluates.
  
• The skin is cleansed and a toner applied to remove any excess oil and debris.
  
• A cool gel is applied to the skin.
  
• The ReFirme procedure is performed.
  
• A cool compress is applied to the treated area.
  
• The treatment finishes with moisturizer and sunscreen.
  
• All treatments are performed by a Para-Medical Esthetician.
  
• A Hair Never There uses vinyl gloves and follows all Universal Precautions.

How Long Will It Take To Notice Results?
Most clients see gradual improvement of the treated areas following the first treatment. The skins surface will appear tighter, firmer and smoother. ReFirme results will be most apparent 6-8 weeks following the final treatment. However, the total number of treatments required depends on your skins condition.

How Often Do I Come In For ReFirme Treatments?
Most treatments are performed at 3-4 week intervals, but can be determined at initial consultation.

How Do I Improve and Maintain My ReFirme Results?
We recommend maintenance treatments periodically, following the complete treatment regimen. Like all non-surgical or surgical techniques, results will last longer if you follow a good skin care regime.

The ReFirme is a FDA approved device which is safe and effective for all skin types and colors. This procedure is virtually painless and requires no downtime, you can return to normal activities immediately following the treatment.

Does The Treatment Hurt?
Most clients find ReFirme treatments to be comfortable, the majority of clients find the procedure to be virtually painless. The treatment is designed to accommodate your comfort level and sensitivity.

How Will I Feel After The Treatment?
It is normal for the treated area to feel tight and have a mild heat sensation for up to a few hours following treatment. In some cases, mild redness can be observed for several hours.

Why Can't My Skin Be Tanned When I Am Getting The Treatments?
Tanning increases the melanin in the skin. Increased melanin in the treated area holds additional heat in your skin which can cause discomfort and result in a less effective treatment. It is best to avoid sunless tanning products for 2 weeks prior to a ReFirme treatment and to let your tan fade for 2 weeks before the procedure.

What Are The Advantages of ReFirme Compared To Other Treatments?
There are no other methods available today that include a combination of Bi-Polar Radio Frequency, Infrared Light, and Photo Rejuvenation like ReFirme. ReFirme offers a non-surgical alternative to a face lift.

Who Cannot Have ReFirme Treatments?
Our office does not treat individuals who have been taking Accutane in the past 6 months. A test spot may need to be performed for individuals who have been taking oral medications which cause sun sensitivity. We cannot treat individuals with Lupus, MS, Pace Makers, Skin Cancer, women who are pregnant or breast feeding, and individuals with cardio vascular problems. We can not treat over areas where there are Botox or fillers.
